Welcome to Fastway School of Intensive Motoring!
We are a specialist company offering 1, 2, 3, or 4 week courses in and around the surrounding areas of Newcastle, Tyneside or Northumberland.
We have individual instructors, Some who specialise in one week courses and others who just teach 1 or 2 lessons per pupil per week. Please advise us of your preference when booking.
If you book an intensive course with us we will not use any excuses, such as we cannot fit you in for your remaining hours as we have other pupils to fit in our diary. We are committed to one pupil per course per week.
Our policy is to offer lessons aimed towards your individual needs, This could be from 1 or 2 lessons per week up to a maximum of 40 hours in one week, The choice is yours.
Our Commitment to You
We believe that a one on one intensive driving course is the most effective method of accelerated learning. You will get the undivided attention of a highly qualified DSA registered instructor, to encourage and motivate you throughout your driving tuition. Your Instructor will take you through the official DSA syllabus step by step, thus ensuring that you are trained to the standard required to pass your driving test on the last day of your course. All that we ask of you, is that you are willing to give your instructor 100% commitment.
At Fastway School of Intensive Motoring, our instructors are patient and understanding, and will give you the help and support needed to get you through your test. You will have the same instructor and car for the duration of the course, and use of the car during your test. We specialise in short notice driving tests, so if you are looking to do your driving test shortly, be it in the next week or two or thereafter, just let us know and we will arrange everything for you. All instructors adhere to the Driving Standards Agency code of conduct.
All of our approved driving instructors have to pass a demanding three-part exam. A multiple choice 'Theory Test' and 'Hazard Perception Test' (Part 1), a 'Driving Ability Test' (Part 2), and an 'Instructional Ability Test' (Part 3). The driving ability and instructional ability tests are limited to 3 attempts, which makes the qualifying process very demanding.
Please note that you must have passed your theory test before you can apply for your practical test.
